Introduction to me

I'm H and I live in a large Southern Minnesota city and was born in 1996. My parents are lesbian and for years I have been harassed because of it. Kids at school are so small town that they believe that I am lesbian because of my parents even though everyone knows I have dated a boy. I endure it most every day and hate it. My family actually looked at two different schools because of it. I won't be going to either of them, unfortunately, because they didn't accept my whole family. Some of my friends are looking around, too. I stand up for what I believe in and gay rights are certainly up there, another reason for my supposed sexual preference. I believe everyone is equal and not everyone agrees with me. Also it is up to the person, not the family that determines their sexuality. I may be bisexual (I have contemplated whether I am or not, and have not quite made up my mind) but not lesbian. Fortunately I have friends that support me and other students that have the same problem as I. Unfortunately I have a completely uninterested and incompetent new principal. We had a great one last year but now the superintendent replaced her when she moved schools. Our new one (Dr. CN) doesn't do anything and is more worried about a law suit than her students' safety. All in all, my life sucks from this point but it's not all bad, at least I have something to write about for my English portfolio!
